The graduates of the Vocational College for Hotel Management Pegnitz
 

• possess fundamental knowledge in business management, commodities management in the hotel industry and tourism and in law
• possess extensive knowlegde in business organization, information technology and the sector application software
• possess all the relevant practical knowledge in the departments F&B, restaurant and hotel
• possess a one year practical internship in national and international hotels
• are able to focus to the needs of the international competition
• use at least two foreign languages situation related on a high performance level in speaking, listening, reading and writing
• acquire additional qualifications in foreign languages
• are entitled after the successful final examination according to AEVO to train apprentices in profession related companies
• have acquired the qualification to pass additionally successfully an optional vocational degree in the hotel and catering trade
• can acquire in top-up-university studies¹ a profession related Bachelor and Master degree
• are employed in marketing and the sales of hotel services and products as well as in administrative positions; lead and motivate personnel
